Remind me

I’ve got sandwiches in my bag with post it notes on them that say “BREAST MILK”. Let me explain myself: The Huzzy and I are all about creating systems around us that make our life easier. Between a new baby, a dog, graduate school and work, there is little time to waste. Any free time is spent keeping our house clean so our child doesn’t grow any green things on his forehead.

The Huzzy has taken on packing my school lunches as I turn into bed at a reasonable hour. The neon pink post-it notes were put on the sandwiches the night before to remind me to bring frozen breast milk to the nursery so my child will not fall over in hunger when he waits for me to feed him. Another key element to the saving is time is that we packed my bike in the car this morning. This will turn my 10-12 minute walk to the nursery into a one minute bike ride. creating less stress and more time for studying and feeding all at once!

So let’s forget the fact that i haven’t sat on a bike in almost a year and i still have some post-partum healing to do. Time is money, time trumphs aches and pains. And the Ginrod needs a perky ass.
