Jerusalem

Friday was an insanely beautiful day in Jerusalem. We’ve also been invited out for lunch and dinner for the last couple weeks so we haven’t had to cook for Shabbat. This leaves us with time to enjoy the sun and let the rays follow us as we walked with the entire family (including Henck the pup) into town.

We managed to enjoy two coffees each along the way. Open air artist markets kept our eyes entertained and the bumpy streets kept the baby in a zen-like trans. Love.The.Sun.

Days like Friday make me so peaceful. Every single step I take I’m having a small conversation with G-d in my head, thankful for the two kings I have in my life and for sunny days and warm apartments. It’s as if I avoid the newspapers for one more day just to avoid the big bad world out there. Mush, i know.
